Sweding - Task 1

- The term "sweding" comes from the movie, Be Kind Rewind (2008). A sweded film is basicly the remake of a movie with little or no budget. There is little editing and each scene is usually just one take, with no complex editing or cinematography. A swede is often made to be humerous in order to pull off the poor standerd at which the film is made.

- The movie i pitched for our swede was Stanley Kubrick's, The Shining (1980. I thought this would be a humerous remake because iconic scenes such as the "Heeres Jonny!" scene, would be easily recognisable amoung audiences.

- The film we picked for our swede was The Shining. We picked this film for the reasons given in my pitch, and we believed it would be the easiest film out of our ideas to pull off and be effective at the same time. Sweding such an iconic film in cinema also adds to the humour because the contrast between the quality of the two is so great.

- Editing and Camera work were simple because the poor use and quality of them helps define the film as a swede. Tripods were rarly used to add to this effect, but it was used when we recreated the elevator scene.
